Why We Exist

OUR VISION:

JOINING GOD

IN RESTORING A

BROKEN WORLD

This is the grand story of the Bible. God’s heart is to restore brokenness at every level (spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, relational, and societal). Jesus said he came to bring hope, healing, and freedom (Luke 4:18-21).  LifeSpring is not a building or a service, we are a growing community of people who follow Jesus, are being changed by Him, and help others do the same. We join God in restoring broken individuals, families, and communities here and around the world.

RESTORING INDIVIDUALS

We help people grow as disciples of Jesus Christ in four directions: Up (relationship with God), In (character and identity), With (relationship with others), and Out (mission in life).

RESTORING FAMILIES

We inspire people to live out their calling in their families. We provide age-specific opportunities for children and teens to know Jesus, equip parents to disciple their children, and connect generations to create a vibrant faith that sticks and grows.

RESTORING COMMUNITIES

Locally, we mobilize people to live on mission at work/school and with their friends/neighbors. We rally together as a community to meet big needs in our area. We partner with local ministries and organizations to strengthen the schools, renew the community, and unify churches. Globally, we mobilize people to pray for, support, and go cross-culturally on mission. We partner with global ministries and organizations to reach the unreached, plant churches, train leaders, translate the Bible, and eradicate the world’s greatest evils.

What We Do

OUR STRATEGY:

MAKE DISCIPLES WHO MAKE DISCIPLES

This is the simple, compelling commission Jesus gave us as his followers (Matthew 28:18-20). We follow Christ’s example by sharing the gospel and our lives, by connecting people to truth and community, by equipping people to serve/minister, and by sending people out to make disciples.

Our strategy is to help you trust and follow Jesus so that you are transformed AND so that you own the mission to help more people experience the same thing.

When you become a disciple, you commit to making disciples. That means you live like a missionary where you live, work or study, and hang out.

Our Core Values

GRACE

We need it, we give it

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Ephesians 4:32

TRUTH

God’s Word is the foundation

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

FAMILY

“We” is always better than “me”

Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Hebrews 10:24-25

GROWTH

God has so much more for us

But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:13-14

LOVE

Love God, Love People
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins . . . And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us.

1 John 4:7-10, 16-19
