Imagine getting together once a month with friends who live near you for a Sunday morning worship experience. You are warmly welcomed into a family atmosphere. There are familiar faces, but you also get to meet new friends (some who live nearby but don’t go to church). You’re inspired hearing stories about how people are following Jesus, being changed by Him, and impacting the world. You worship God together, and kids are welcomed as part of the experience. They have a fun learning time of their own while you watch a live stream of the LifeSpring message...but this time you have a chance to react to it immediately afterward. You may even get to have a meal together and talk about ways you can team up to love and serve neighbors.
We think that sounds a lot like the early church, and we believe God is leading us to try it out.
Neighborhood Churches are...A different type of Sunday worship experience held in homes or mid-sized community spaces. These once-a-month, offsite LifeSpring services complement our traditional services by encouraging and supporting a deeper focus on relational connection and living on mission where we live.
The short answer is the choice is yours. However, if you are a part of a LifeGroup here at LifeSpring we recommend you attend the Neighborhood Church that is affiliated with your LifeGroup. Neighborhood Churches are intended to be an extension of the awesome community we get to be a part of, in a LifeGroup. If you are not part of a LifeGroup we recommend you check out the Neighborhood church that represents the Neighborhood where you live.
Please check out the Groups represented in each Neighborhood Church and the location map below…
Why Should I Check it Out?Build stronger friendships and connections. Step out to use your spiritual gifts in a new way. Think about the impact you and 30 other people from your area could have for Christ when you band together!
Do I Have to?Not at all. While participation is encouraged, it is not required. You’re free to continue to attend services as normal. That said, you might be surprised at how much you love getting together in a Neighborhood Church once a month.
Can I Come if I Don’t Attend LifeSpring?Absolutely, we would love to have you visit, and there is no need to give advance notice, feel free to just show up. Neighborhood Churches are designed to help the community and everyone from the community is welcome. We want you to know that no matter what you have been through or where you are from LifeSpring Neighborhood Churches are a place you are safe and free to learn, grow, and connect.
How is This Different Than a LifeGroup?LifeGroups are smaller gatherings of around 8-12 people that provide a place for close, personal relationships. Neighborhood churches are mid-sized gatherings (20-70 people) that provide expanded social connection and shared vision for serving a local area.
How Do I Help Out?We have been praying for God to lead people just like you to launch this exciting new chapter of ministry at LifeSpring. For more information, write “Neighborhood Church” on your Connect Card or email firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will follow up with more details.
