Robert Reese

Associate Pastor

Robert was born in Cleveland, Ohio (like John, he hopes you won’t judge him for that) but moved down towards the Harrison area when he was four. He did not grow up in church, other than the occasional Sunday School, and considered himself skeptical of any religious claim until he was seventeen. By grace, and with much patience, the Lord broke through Robert’s selfishness and showed him a life that was worth living by following Jesus. However, it wasn’t until a year later that he realized Jesus wasn’t just an add-on to his life, but the center and guiding purpose of all that he would do.

In June of 2013, Robert married his best friend, Lauren. They now have two children: Asher (Hebrew for “happiness”) and Chara (Greek for “joy”). Robert is passionate about building up marriages on Scripture and helping couples to know God better through their marriages. After bouncing around colleges and switching majors several times, God was gracious to lead Robert through his Bachelor’s degree in biblical and theological studies from Liberty University. He is now working towards a Master’s degree in Counseling.

Robert has a threefold passion for global missions, counseling, and discipleship. After serving for four years as a pastor of student ministries, God kindly brought him to LifeSpring in July of 2018. He enjoys to read, spend time with his family, and be outside. He wants everyone to know that if God can use him, he can use you!
